Survival Armor has chosen to use Officer Aided
Design to develop our ballistic pads. We have
taken the sizing templates developed for NIJ
standards testing, and in conjunction with officer
input, developed ballistic pads with enhanced
coverage. The designs that were acceptable in
the past no longer fulfill the needs of today’s law
enforcement. With officer input, we were able to
maximize coverage without sacrificing comfort.
And our State-of-the Art Gerber Cad System
and Cutter guarantee a consistent and precise
manufacturing process.
In today’s environment most manufacturers use
only Computer Aided Design which takes into
consideration shapes and sizes that give maximum

material utilization. This
enables these manufacturers
to maximize profits. While
patterns tend to move from
three or four manufacturers
providing the same amount of
coverage, Survival Armor has
broken the chain. We asked
officers where they would
like additional coverage. And
we listened. Every inch helps.

us we are moving in the right
direction. We say moving

listen and not be locked into
“the way it’s always been”.
Our new superior pad cover properties consist of High Elastic, Hydrolysis and Microbial Resistant material which add protection to the ballistic pac from moisture and odor. With our patent-pending technology, VisiBALLISTICS™, officers will be able to visually self check their armor.
